It has been a rather exciting week in the Boosh fandom so far.

As you all know Noel was as every year a guest at the NME awards presenting an award alongside Matt Berry. Absolute radio caught up with him on the red carpet and after brielfy discussing his outfit (as every year) Noel revealed that the Boosh album is ready to go and that they are still working on the film. He pointed out that it’s not over for the Boosh and they are just taking a little break after almost 15 years of working together. In that little break Julian will be doing some avantgarde theatre (was I the only one who thought Noel looked a bit cheeky when mentioning that?) and Noel will be releasing a new show on Channel 4 called “Noel Fielding’s luxury comedy”. So looking forward to that.

Further Noel will be on stage for “Let’s dance for Comic Relief” on Saturday. Rumours has it that he’s been fitted into a red dress and will be dancing to Kate Bush’s “Wuthering Heights”.

We also have a new amazing artist featured in the fanart gallery: Chelsea aka Pibity. Go and check her out!

First of all: Sincere appologies for the lack of updates lately, but real life kinda caught up with us and we didn’t find time to take proper care of the site.

But things will slowly change now. As a first (not visible) achievement we have fixed the bugs in our quotes script. It’s now running smoothly and is ready for the buttload of new quotes we will add during the next weeks. As always you are welcome to participate and add quotes to our database.

We are also planning to another section to the site that is dedicated to the music and popcultural references in The Boosh. You all know that there’s a lot in the show and since we aren’t all walking music dictionaries, we’d like to explore those references in detail.

As you all might have heard, Noel was attending the “Just for laughs” Festival in Toronto the last days and we have some brand new pictures from his three stand-up gigs.

We are still awaiting responses from some brand new artists we have contacted and asked for permission to display their art here at TVO. But until we’re hearing back from those geniuses we have a few additions of already featured artists: Sofie & Ira

The adorable Old Gregg is from Ira and the phantastic “Cheese is a kind of meat” T-Shirt and the Bollo illustration is from Sofie. Aren’t they amazing?

We have just uploaded a bunch of pictures taken when Noel and Julian attended the “Journey of the Childmen” screening in New York City for a quick question and answer session.

A huuuge thank you goes out to Tammy who was there that night, took all the pictures and gave us permission to publish them in our gallery.

We just added new lyrics and crimps of the Future Sailors Live tour.

It really seems like there are loads of dedicated and most of all CREATIVE Boosh fans living in Russia. We’d like to shout out a welcome to our newest artist Nina and thank her for giving us permission to publish her fanarts. Her sketches and digital paintings are an enrichment to our gallery.

If you haven’t checked out Noel’s performance on the Channel 4 Comedy Gala, you definitely should. Not just because it’s always a pleasure to see him perform, but also because the line-up that night was brilliant. A must-see for every fan of british comedy.

After our original light-greyish-bubbly skin we wanted to put up something a bit darker, since lots of people prefer to have the colors more toned down… especially during the night hours.

Welcome to our website!
This is the FIRST ever post we do on here (if you don’t count in all the test post we did until all was working).

Basically we just wanted to tell you were up and running. Finally after months of hard work this day has finally come and thank god for that! We enjoyed making this website for you, although the last couple of weeks we had a taste of madness. But to quote The Bowler Lady: “What’s a huge project without a little nervous breakdown?!”
But now we are here ready rock the Booshiverse!

As you can see we have a lot of stuff on here at the moment BUT there is so much more to come.
We wanted to get the basics of the site done before we went online, so everything that we have coming up during the next weeks is just a bonus.

You can expect:

• More Characters descriptions
• More Photo’s in the gallery
• More.. well I guess you get the picture by now…
